Targeting a Journal

How can you determine an appropriate journal for publishing your article?  Try the following:

 

1) Refer to Ulrich’s Periodical Directory via our library databases. The Ulrich’s database provides detailed, comprehensive, and authoritative information on serials published throughout the world. Enter your topic or discipline in the search box, and use the limits on the left-hand side of your results to refine your search.

 

2) Look for journals or magazines published by professional organizations for your field:

 

3) Search the ERIC Publications list for titles of scholarly publications related to education; go to the website of potential journals to view their scope and submissions requirements.
