The Cochrane Library Tutorials
To view the list of tutorials, click on “click here to see available tutorials” below and to the right of the heading for “The Cochrane Library.” Helpful tutorials provide an introduction to The Cochrane Library, cover tips on advanced and MeSH searching, and cover setting up saved searches and e-mail alerts. Click on “launch module” to view a tutorial.

Micromedex Demo
Use this demo to learn how to use Micromedex. Use the back and skip buttons to skip forward and backward within the demo. Micromedex is a comprehensive medical reference on drugs, diseases, acute care, toxicology, alternative medicine, and patient education and care. It includes information on drug interactions, IV compatibility, and drug comparisons. Also includes a drug identification tool, calculators, and formularies. PubMed Tutorials
Helpful PubMed tutorials cover searching PubMed by author, searching with the MeSH Database, combining MeSH terms using the MeSH Database, and applying subheadings and other features of the MeSH Database.
PubMed’s My NCBI feature
My NCBI allows one to save searches and save articles within PubMed. One can also create filters for searching your saved items. Helpful tutorials cover saving searches, saving articles (see “collections”), and receiving e-mail alerts for articles from your favorite journals.
