Annual Meeting 2014: Service Project

Service project information

Our Community Service Partner this year is the Knoxville affiliate of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Knox County provides one age-appropriate, high-quality new book to almost 18,000 children in Knox County each month, at no cost to the family. The books are available to all children, regardless of socioeconomic status. Knox County currently mails books to 68% of the eligible population of children and mail books to the highest percentage of eligible children in all urban cities. The program is a partnership between the Knox County Public Library, which pays for all administrative costs, the Governor's Books from Birth Foundation, which matches every donation at 100%, and the Dollywood Foundation. Please join your fellow SEAALL members in contributing to this great cause.

Donations can be made via the Knox County Library website here.  When filling out the online form, there is a place that asks if the donation is a tribute. Please click "yes," and then you will be able to type SEAALL in the "other" box, noting the donation type. This will allow us to keep track of the donations made on behalf of SEAALL.

Thank you for taking a moment to make a difference! We look forward to seeing you in Knoxville.

Sincerely,

Robert Brammer, SEAALL Community Service Committee
