A scholarly journal is a periodical that contains articles written by experts in a particular field of study and reports the results of research in that field. The articles are intended to be read by other experts or students of the field.

Research consultations may include instruction on database searching, literature searches, article downloads, web searching, and more. Your librarian is here to help with any information needs you have related to research, writing, and publishing! Consultations are typically scheduled one-on-one, but larger groups are always welcome.
Literature Searches are recommended for faculty, staff, students, and residents who are performing research on a topic and need help finding existing literature. After speaking to your librarian, they will perform a literature search and send you results to review.
