LGBTQ+ studies, also known as queer studies, is an interdisciplinary field that examines issues related to sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. It encompasses a wide range of academic disciplines, including sociology, psychology, history, literature, cultural studies, and political science, among others. LGBTQ+ studies explores the experiences, histories, cultures, and politics of LGBTQ+ individuals and communities, as well as the social, cultural, and political forces that shape them.
