Physician Assistant: Journals
A scholarly journal is a periodical that contains articles written by experts in a particular field of study and reports the results of research in that field. The articles are intended to be read by other experts or students of the field.

The Lancet began as an independent, international weekly general medical journal founded in 1823 by Thomas Wakley. Journal of Physician Assistant Education is dedicated to advancing physician assistant (PA) education by publishing ethically produced, scholarly manuscripts germane to PA educators and by providing a forum for the sharing of ideas and innovations that will enhance the education of PA students.
Founded in 1968, the American Academy of PAs is the national professional society for PAs. The American Journal of Medicine - "The Green Journal" - publishes original clinical research of interest to physicians in internal medicine, both in academia and community-based practice. Academic Medicine is the official, peer-reviewed journal of the Association of American Medical Colleges.
