UpToDate is an evidence-based resource designed to help medical professionals make clinical decisions at the point of care. Students and faculty of LMU have access to this resource, as do adjuncts and residents. How you access the database depends on whether you are a student, faculty member, adjunct or resident.
Directions for accessing the database can be found below.
When logging in, you will need to leave off the "@lmunet.edu" in your username.
Please note if you are logging on to the database off campus and you have recently changed your password, the changed password may not register in LMU's systems. You will need to contact IS (423-869-7411) and they can change the password for you as they are located on campus.

UpToDate is accessed through MyLMU (link is here).
You may be prompted for your LMU credentials if you are logging in while away from campus. Do not use the “@lmunet.edu” extension.
This will redirect you to UpToDate. You can begin using UpToDate immediately. To download the mobile app and access additional features (i.e. CME/CE/CPD credits), log into or register for an UpToDate account. These credentials are different from your LMU username.

Appointed clinical adjuncts have received instructions for accessing UptoDate. Clinical adjuncts who do not know their LMU credentials should contact the Rotations Director, Anita Sutton at 423-869-6497 or by email at anita.sutton@lmunet.edu for assistance.
