LibGuide Practices: Publishing Your Guide

LibGuide Workflow Procedures

Steps for publishing your LibGuide:

  1. LibGuide Checklist: Use the LibGuide checklist to edit and format your LibGuide (document download available below).
  2. SELF-ASSESS: Self-Assess your guide: https://lmunet.libwizard.com/f/libguide_audit
    1. Please note that an accessibility audit will not be completed until the LibGuide author completes the self-assessment
  3. ACCESSIBILITY: Once you have completed the self-assessment, you can submit for accessibility review, do not email, please submit form w/ one guide per form: https://lmunet.libwizard.com/f/accessibility_review_request
    1. You will receive an email with changes if they are needed.
    2. After you have completed the changes, you can email the Web Services Librarian notifying them of the changes.
  4. CONTENT: After the accessibility review has been completed and passed, the Library Director will complete a content review. If changes are needed, the Library Director will email the LibGuide author to make necessary content edits.
  5. PUBLISHING: After the accessibility and content assessments are completed, the Library Director will inform the Web Services Librarian of the approval, and the Web Services Librarian will publish the completed guide. The LibGuide author will be contacted by the Web Services Librarian with the published link.
