What accessibility services does the library provide?

Accessibility Services at Carnegie-Vincent Library

LMU Libraries provides one piece of equipment at the Harrogate site. The device is located in the first-floor computer lab, located on the right when you enter the library. If you need assistance finding the device, please visit the reference desk and a librarian will be happy to assist.

Tagge Center for Academic Support Device Description:

The Aladdin Apex is a video magnifier designed for use by individuals with low vision. This desktop video magnifier has an adjustable flat panel monitor that can be raised or lowered to bring the image to eye level, moved forward or backward to the optimum viewing distance, and tilted to reduce glare. Viewing features include 24 color select options, high contrast, line markers, shadow masking, and continuous autofocus with manual override. Magnification ranges from 3 to 48 times the original document size.
