2025 Homepage FAQs: Course Reserves

Course Reserves

Course Reserves are materials set aside by instructors for student use in specific courses. These items are often required readings or resources that support the curriculum. Here’s what you need to know about accessing course reserves at the library:

Accessing Course Reserves

  • Check with Your Instructor: Instructors will typically provide information about which materials are on reserve for their courses.

Library Circulation Desk:

  • Visit the library circulation desk to access course reserves by providing your course name, instructor's name, or course code; library staff will assist you in locating the materials and inform you of the borrowing policies.

Borrowing Materials:

  • Items on course reserves may include physical books, articles, or multimedia materials.
  • Check the borrowing policies, as these items may have shorter loan periods (e.g., 2 hours, 1 day) to ensure all students have access.

If you have questions about specific items on reserve or need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask library staff!
