Synopsis: This collection contains items related to the opening of and events associated with the opening of the DeBusk School of Osteopathic Medicine and early events of note centered around the school.

Biographical/Historical Note:  The DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) began its life on August 1, 2007 on the campus of Lincoln Memorial University.  DCOM is one of LMU's newer buildings and stands on a prominent hill on the south side of the Harrogate campus .  As of February 2018, the school offers a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine and a master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies.

Series Notes: The collection comprises a single series.  The materials in this collection were originally housed in a rough chronological order and every attempt has been made to retain that original arrangement.
